In Outlook we can not only change the language of the menu items and buttons but also the language for spelling and grammar. Having the menu items and buttons in your own language makes it easier to work with Outlook.

Install Office Language Pack

If the language isn’t listed then you will first need to install the correct Office Language Pack on your computer. The language pack contains the display text and proofing tools for your Office installation and can be installed after installing Office.

You can download the Office Language Pack here at Microsoft. After you have installed the pack, follow the steps below to activate it in Office:

  1. In Outlook, open the Outlook Options again ( File > Options > Language )
  2. Select your newly installed language
  3. Click on Set as Preferred
